Icelandic Sea Kayak Symposium 2019

Icelands first Sea kayak symposium was held in 2019. It was based in the west of Iceland near the small town of Stykkishólmur. Groups were led by experienced Icelandic guides and were joined by Nigel Dennis of NDK who opened Icelands new NDK Expedition centre and welcomed a new fleet of fibreglass NDK sea kayaks to join the existing composite kayaks in the fleet available to rent for guided expeditions or BCU accredited courses. Guests from various countries and nationalities such as the UK, Poland and Austria attended, and enjoyed exploring the rugged coastline around Stykkishólmur, West Iceland.
